What is Woolworths NetSetGo?

Woolworths are proud supporters of Netball Australia and in 2022 became the naming rights partner of Woolworths NetSetGo.

Woolworths NetSetGo is Australia’s leading grassroots netball program, designed for children aged 5-10 to experience the joy of netball in a fun, safe, and welcoming community.

Woolworths has shown its continual support for grassroots netball, donating over $1.1 million to over 320 clubs and associations across Australia through its community grants program.

Together we want to develop confident, and active kids who will grow a lifelong love of team sport, all while building essential skills.

Who can apply?

You must be an Australian Resident aged 18 years and over and a member of an Australian Netball Club or Association to apply. Employees (and their immediate families) of Woolworths (and its contractors and agencies associated with the promotion) are unable to enter.

How long are entries open for?

Entries are open now until 6 August 2026 at 23:59 local time (Sydney, Australia). Winners of the $2,000 grant will be notified throughout the season. Woolworths will contact your club/association directly from the email address Woolworthsnetballgrants@tgisport.com.au.

What is the People’s Choice Award?

We are excited to bring back the popular People’s Choice for 2026. The earlier you enter, the more time you have to promote your club and enhance your chance of winning.

Every club that submits an application to the Woolworths Grants programme will automatically be entered into the draw for the People’s Choice. All clubs will be listed on the Woolworths Grants website and anyone can vote for the club they feel is most deserving of the funds.

The club that receives the most votes will be awarded the People’s Choice Award and $20,000 to support their club, so make sure you reach out to the local community for their support.

You can download a number of assets to promote on your social channels and hand out at your sessions.
What is the judging criteria?

Judging will be undertaken by a panel of three judges, with winners determined based on how the club or association would use the grant to help improve the health and wellbeing of Aussie kids , in one or more of the following ways: (i) provision of equipment / uniforms / facilities / services; (ii) improved access to Woolworths NetSetGo; and/or (iii) improved nutrition.

Applicants are more likely to win a grant if they can demonstrate a tangible improvement (e.g. in relation to equipment) for which the grant money will be used.
