Terms and Conditions
All sections and information on this page form part of these Terms and Conditions. By applying for the 2026 Woolworths Netball Grant, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Applications must comply with these terms and conditions to be valid.
Schedule to Entry Conditions
1. Application Period
Applications for the 2026 Woolworths Netball Grant (“Grant”) start at 12:00 AEST on 27.04.26 and close at 23:59 AEST on 06.08.26 (“Application Period”).
2. Who is eligible to enter?
During the Application Period, entry is open only to persons who:
- are Australian Residents aged 18 years and over; and
- are a member of an Australian Netball Club or Association (“Netball Club”).
(“Eligible Entry”)
The applicant submitting an Eligible Entry agrees for the contact details they provide as part of their entry to be shared with Netball Australia and relevant State Netball organisations:
(a) to verify that the Netball Club is a member or Netball Australia (or a relevant State member organisation) and/or a participant of the Woolworths NetSetGo program (“NetSetGo Program”); and
(b) for the purpose of these entities contacting the entrant to share further information about the NetSetGo Program.
The applicant agrees that by submitting an entry for a Grant, the Promoter will communicate with them via various channels and media (including by email, SMS, phone number and mail (as applicable) to the contact details they provide as part of their entry) in order to share information with the applicant about the NetSetGo Program. This may include but is not limited to details about the applicant’s entry, details of Grant winners, and promotional information about Woolworths, Netball Australia and the NetSetGo Program. The applicant agrees to receive such information via these various channels and media, and that such messages will not have a functional unsubscribe facility.
Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and its contractors and agencies associated with the promotion are ineligible to enter. “Immediate family” means spouse, parent, natural or adopted child, sibling (whether natural or adopted by a parent), cousin whether or not they live in the same household as the director, manager, employee, officer or contractor.
3. How to apply?
To apply for the Grant, Eligible Entrants must:
- complete a Grant Application Form by visiting https://woolworthsnetballgrants.com.au/application-page, during the Application Period. This will include providing information including, but not limited to:
- the entrant’s Netball Club name;
- the entrant’s first name, last name, title, contact number, email, State/Territory, suburb/location and Netball Club website;
- confirmation of whether the entrant’s Netball Club is part of the NetSetGo Program; and
- answer the following question (the “Application Question”): Explain in detail how your Netball Club would use the Grant to help improve the health and wellbeing of Aussie kids, in one or more of the following ways: (i) sporting equipment/uniforms/improvements to facilities; (ii) access to NetSetGo Program; and/or (iii) nutrition (the “Purpose”).

Applications may also be accompanied by supporting photographs and/or videos, provided they comply with the Additional Terms set out below.
Incomplete Applications are not valid entries.
4. Maximum number of applications
Applications are limited to one (1) per Netball Club. If multiple Applications are made for the same Netball Club, the Promoter reserves the right to choose, in its sole discretion, which application will be considered. The Promoter’s choice is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity and/or proof of membership at the nominated Netball Club.
5. Grant Details
Total Grant value is up to AUD$103,000.00. The Grant is broken down as follows:
- 1 x Prize of AUD$20,000.00 to the People’s Choice Winner (“People’s Choice Prize”), as voted by members of the public on the Woolworths Netball Grants website http://woolworthsnetballgrants.com.au.
- 40 x AUD$2,000.00 second prizes (“Second Grant Prize”) as judged by a panel appointed by the Promoter.
- 12 x Free Fruit for Kids delivery valued at $250.00 each or Woolworths Supermarkets e-Gift Card valued at $250.00 each to purchase fruit for kids (“Fruit for Kids Prize”). Only entrants who do not win an AUD$2,000 second prize will be eligible to win a Fruit for Kids Prize.

The final amount of Grants provided is dependent on the number of Eligible Entries received at the end of the Application Period.
Grants will not be awarded by way of cash payment to the winners. Grants will be awarded subject to the Promoter’s receipt of a valid tax invoice issued by the winner’s verified Netball Club, with a valid ABN, that has an online or physical presence. The Grant will be awarded by the Promoter paying that invoice.
It is a condition of accepting a Grant that a reasonable number of members of the Netball Club consent to and participate in any media opportunities (including but not limited to photographs, interviews, and promotional materials) requested by the Promoter, Netball Australia or the State member organisations in relation to the Grant and/or the NetSetGo Program.
6. How winners are determined
(a) For the purposes of determining the People’s Choice Prize, the winner will be decided based on the highest number of votes received on the website during the Application Period. The winner will be determined by 7 September 2026 at 1 Woolworths Way, Bella Vista NSW 2153. Previous winners will not be eligible to win in consecutive years.
(b) The 40 x Second Grant Prizes will be judged by a panel of 3 judges appointed by the Promoter. The judges will consider the entrants’ responses to the Application Question (as set out in clause 4 above) and choose the winners based on their answer, taking into account how the grant will serve the Purpose (set out in clause 4 above). All responses will be judged individually on their merits and the winning responses will be in the sole discretion of the judges, determined by simple majority.
Judging will commence at 2pm AEST each month at 1 Woolworths Ways, Bella Vista NSW 2153 (or where judges cannot be present in-person, online) on the following dates, and may occur over a number of following days in the respective week for each date:
- Tuesday 9th June 2026
- Monday 6th July 2026
- Monday 3rd August 2026
- Monday 7th September 2026
Up to 10 successful entrants will be selected each month for the Second Grant Prize. If the Promoter does not select 10 winners in a given month, it reserves the right to select the remaining winners in following months during the Application Period. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding – no correspondence will be entered into.
(c.) Entrants who do not win a Second Grant Prize will be eligible to win a Fruit for Kids Prize. The judges will consider the entrants’ responses to the Application Question (as set out in clause 4 above) and choose the winners based on their answer, taking into account how the grant will serve the Purpose (set out in clause 4 above). All responses will be judged individually on their merits and the winning responses will be in the sole discretion of the judges, determined by simple majority.
7. Winner notification
The successful Applicants will be notified by email from woolworthsgrants@tgisport.com.au within one (1) week of the judging throughout the Application Period. The email address will be the one supplied by the Applicant via the entry form on the http://woolworthsnetballgrants.com.au/ website.
8. Winner publication
The name/s of all Grant winners will be published at: http://woolworthsnetballgrants.com.au
9. Unclaimed prizes
Prizes must be claimed by a winner within 14 days of the notification email being sent to the relevant winner. If a prize is not claimed within that 14 days, the relevant prize will be forfeited by the winner and, if there are any other eligible entrants, the prize will be awarded to another entrant based on the process set out in clause 8 above.
10. Use of grants
All Grants must be invoiced and used by the winners for the Purpose set out in their Application, prior to 30th September 2027.
The People’s Choice Prize winner must provide the Promoter with a summary of how the Grant was used, or an update of how the Grant is being used, by 6th April 2027, for the Promoter’s promotional purposes.
11. Invalidation and disqualification
The Promoter reserve the right, at any time:
(a) to invalidate any entries which it reasonably suspects have been submitted using false, incorrect, fraudulent or misleading information, including but not limited to personal details and contact information and/or entries that have been submitted through the use of multiple identities, email addresses or accounts, including but not limited to social networking accounts; and/or
(b) to disqualify any entrant (or invalidate his/her entry) that the Promoter reasonably suspect has paid, bartered or offered payment or other consideration to another person in exchange for votes or has otherwise encouraged or procured any person to submit votes contrary to these Terms and Conditions.
ADDITIONAL TERMS
- If entrants provide a photograph or video as part of their entry, they must adhere to the following conditions: (a) by providing a photograph or video, entrants agree to the photograph or video being made available for public viewing; (b) any person depicted in a photograph or video provided must be decently dressed and presented; (c.) all photographs and videos are subject to the approval of the Promoter. The Promoter is not responsible for any photographs or videos provided to it and then used on any Platform (as defined in clause 19) or website and; (d) entrants must own the copyright in the photograph or video provided or be entitled and have permission to use the photograph or video in the manner contemplated by these terms, including use of the photograph or video for promotional purposes in accordance with clause 18; (e) the entrant has the permission of each other person featured in the photograph or video, or, if any other person is under the age of 18, the permission of their parent or legal guardian, to enter the photograph or video in accordance with these terms and conditions, including consent to each condition in this clause 1; (f) and entrants must notify each other person featured in the photograph, or, if any other person is under the age of 18, that person’s parent or legal guardian, of the Promoter’s privacy policy (available at
https://www.woolworths.com.au/Shop/Discover/about-us/privacy-policy ) and each person or parent or legal guardian (as the case may be) has agreed to that privacy policy. - The winner must be over 18 years of age to accept the prize. If you are judged as a winner and are under 18 years of age your prize will be forfeited and go to another entry.
- Entries must be received by the Promoter during the Application Period. Entries received after the close of the Application Period will not be accepted.
- This competition is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner(s). The judges’ decision is final and binding – no correspondence will be entered into.
- The prize winner must, at the Promoter’s reasonable request, participate in any promotion activity (such as publicity and photography) relating to the winning and fulfilment of the prize, free of charge, and they consent to the Promoter using their name and imagery in any future promotional material related to this Competition.6. Prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash. In particular, prizes may not, without the prior consent of the Promoter and any applicable Third Party Supplier, be resold or offered for resale at a premium (including via online auction sites) or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services. If a prize is sold or used in breach of this condition, the Promoter or the Supplier may, acting reasonably, at their absolute discretion, withdraw the prize(s). Where a prize has been withdrawn in accordance with this clause, no refund, substitute or compensation will be offered and if the prize is a ticket, the winner and any person who has purchased or otherwise bears that ticket will be refused entry.
- The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry or for inaccurate information or for any loss, damage or injury as a result of technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches, theft or destruction, any cause beyond the Promoter’s control, or unauthorised access to or alteration of the competition. If such problems arise, then the Promoter may modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the competition. Further, the Promoter at its sole discretion may recommence this competition under the same conditions.
- If any prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
- All reasonable attempts will be made to contact the winners. If a winner does not respond to the Promoter within 14 days of being notified, their entry will be deemed invalid and the Promoter may award their prize to the next best entry as determined by the judges in accordance with clause 8 of the main terms.
- If an entrant’s contact details change at any time between the date on which they enter the competition and the end of the entry period, that entrant must notify the Promoter of their correct contact details immediately.
- The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of age, identity, residential address of winners and any other information from entrants relevant to entry into or participation in this competition. Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter, whose decision is final. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who provides false information, fails to provide information, is in breach of these conditions, provides entries that are offensive or otherwise inappropriate in the sole opinion of the Promoter, conspires with others to gain an unfair advantage or who is otherwise involved in any way in manipulating, interfering or tampering with the conduct of this competition, or who has engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the competition. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
- The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (even if caused by negligence) as a result of accepting and/or using a prize or in relation to the competition, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Any prize supplied by a third party supplier (that is, individual or organisation which is separate to the Promoter ( “Third Party Supplier” ) is subject to the terms and conditions of that Third Party Supplier. The Promoter is not responsible or liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered by any winner as a result of the conduct of any third party supplier or otherwise as a result of the winner accepting and/or using a prize (even if caused by negligence), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Nothing in these conditions restricts, excludes or modifies or purports to restrict, exclude or modify any statutory consumer rights under any applicable law including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
- If in the conduct of this competition, the Promoter is liable for a breach of any guarantee, warranty, condition or other term that applies under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or is implied by any other commonwealth, state or territory law that cannot by law be excluded, the Promoter’s liability under that legislation is limited, to the extent permitted by law, to the cost of replacement of any benefit or prize won.
- Without limiting the previous paragraph, the Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any damage, loss or delay in transit to the prize. Woolworths Group Limited ABN 88 000 014 675 is the issuer of the Woolworths Supermarket eGift Cards. - Before the prize is awarded, the winner and any other person(s) sharing the prize with the winner may be required to sign an agreement to release the Promoter from any liability arising from the use or participation in the prize (to the extent permitted by law).
- The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax liabilities that may arise from winning or receiving the benefit of the Grant. Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implications may arise as a result of accepting the Grant.
- Entrants consent to the Promoter using the name, image, footage and/or voice of all persons shown in photographs or videos, or otherwise named, in the entry in the event that the entrant is a winner in any media for a reasonable period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome) and/or promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter. Entrants confirm and promise that their entry is original and does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party and that they have all relevant permissions to share the information, photographs and/or videos for use of that information, and images and videos. in the manner contemplated by this clause. If the entry or any part of the entry is provided to the entrant by a third party, the entrants warrant that they have obtained the relevant copyright and other intellectual property rights permission to submit the entry for the purposes of this competition. Further, entrants agree that the Promoter has an unrestricted, irrevocable, transferable, divisible right and licence to use and modify their entry (including but not limited to amending, editing, selecting, cropping, retouching, adding to or deleting from any part of the submitted entry) for the purposes of the Promoter’s business including for promotional purposes without the payment of any further fee or compensation. If requested by the Promoter, the entrant agrees to sign any further documentation required by the Promoter to give effect to this arrangement. To the extent permitted by law, entrants unconditionally and irrevocably consent to any act or omission that would otherwise infringe any moral rights in their entry. Entrants agree to indemnify the Promoter, its associated agencies against all losses, damages, claims and costs by third parties arising out of, connected to or resulting from a breach of the warranty set out in this condition.
- If an entry is shared on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, “Platform” means Facebook, Twitter or Instagram as applicable, entrants acknowledge that use of the Platform is subject to the terms and conditions of that Platform. The Promoter is not responsible or liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered by any entrant as a result of the conduct of any of the Platforms, including the decision of any Platform to remove or not remove any photographs, except for liability which cannot be excluded by law. In particular, the thoughts and views expressed on each of the Platforms, are only the thoughts and views of the individual that posted them. They are not representative of the opinions of the Promoter, nor does the Promoter confirm, guarantee or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any post. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by or associated with any Platform. It is a condition of entry that each entrant grants a complete release to Facebook and Instagram from any claims that they now have or may have in the future which relate to or are incidental to this competition.
- Entries remain the property of the Promoter. Details from entries will be collected and used for the purposes of conducting this competition (which may include disclosure to third parties, the Promoter’s related bodies corporate, agencies and contractors (including call centres, advertising agencies and direct mail houses) for the purpose of processing and conducting the competition) and for promotional purposes, public statements and advertisements surrounding this competition. By entering this competition entrants consent to the use of their information as described and agree that the Promoter may use this information, or disclose it to other organisations that may use it, in any media for future promotional purposes without any further reference or payment to the entrant. The Promoter is bound by the Australian Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
